The NPD has given E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS concent to drill the Breiflabb prospect in The North Sea where Det norske as partner holds 15 percent.

The NPD has given E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS concent to drill the Breiflabb prospect in The North Sea where Det norske as partner holds 15 percent.

Breiflabb is located in license 416. The well is named 31/8-1. Drilling operations is to be carried out with Borgland Dolphin after it has completed drilling development well for BP Norge AS on the Skarv field in The Norwegian Sea.

The license was awarded E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS in APA 2006 (Awards in PL416_BreiflabbPredefined Areas), which is an annual licensing round in mature parts of the Norwegian continental shelf.

E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS is the operator with a stake of 50 percent interest. Rocksource is partner with 35 percent and Det norske holds a 15 percent interest.
