Det norske will sign a collaboration agreement from 2010 to 2013 with Det Norske Teatret, thus making Det norske a significant sponsor of culture.
Det Norske Teatret is proud to be attractive in the sponsorship market in a time of economic recession. This week the theater will sign a three-year agreement with Det norske oljeselskap ASA.
– For a relatively small company, Det norske has made significant investments in cultural sponsorship, says Head of Corporate Communication, Torgeir Anda.
– We look at quality when we choose our collaborating partners, and we go for long-term agreements. Det Norske Teatret will be a fundament of our company’s cultural development. We prefer sponsorships that can be of benefit for our staff, something that will be achieved through this agreement. We manage values for society and would like to give something back through sponsorships, Torgeir Anda says.
– Det norske is an innovative, independent, and expanding oil company, a company that is different from other players in the oil industry. As we are at Det Norske Teatret, they are ambitious, aggressive and quality-conscious. Together we aim to confirm our positions as major and important players in our special fields, says Astrid Driva Rødsand, Director of Det Norske Teatret.
– We will exchange experiences and learn from each other. As a bold and creative player in their field, they will clearly have value as a sparring partner for us.
