Det norske has engaged Rolf Jarle Brøske as Industrial Policy Director of Det norske. The new addition to staff will further strengthen the company’s working relations with the authorities, politicians and the public.
CEO Erik Haugane says the engagement is part of the company’s increased activity on the Norwegian shelf.
– We are currently the second largest oil company listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, and we have big ambitions for growth. This means that we must be present in several arenas.
Rolf Jarle Brøske is 31 years old. He has in the past five years been employed at the headquarters of Fokus Bank, the last two years as special advisor for the CEO. He has been deputy to the Parliament for Høyre, a member of the County Council in Møre og Romsdal, and political advisor to Minister of Industry Børge Brende. He is a member of the City Council in Trondheim.
Brøske begins in Det norske in August.
