Det norske oljeselskap ASA recently renewed the sponsorship agreement with Det Norske Teateret (The Norwegian Theater in Oslo). The new three-year sponsor partnership aim to reinforce the two brands and develop internal expertise. Det norske will use expertise from the theater as part of the human resource management, in activities such as culture building, presentations skills and stress management.
The three-year sponsor partnership, from January 2013 throughout December 2015, has a budget of 2, 5 million NOK.
In honor of Det norske’s second development project, Ivar Aasen, Det Norske Teateret will in 2014 set up an Ivar Aasen production, playing both in Oslo and Trondheim. Ivar Aasen is the founder of nynorsk (New Norwegian) and dialect in Norway. Performances at Det Norske Teateret is beeing played in nynorsk.
Director of Communication in Det norske, Torgeir Anda, is looking forward to be working with Det Norske Teateret both in external and internal relations the coming three years. “We are in particular exciting about the Ivar Aasen-performance and look forward to work together with the theater on this project”, comments Anda.
