Det norske has been awarded the Silver Prize for its web-based annual report. The Farmand Award is Norway’s most prestigious award for annual reports and websites published by Norwegian enterprises. This is the third time Det norske is a Farmand Award nominee. In 2012, the company was nominated in the category for the best web-based publication, and in 2009 Det norske could celebrate the third place in the best website category.

VP Communication of Det norske, Torgeir Anda, is very pleased with the award.

Being awarded the Farmand Award shows that we have succeeded in the presentation of our main events in 2012. We received this award immediately after our annual report film, produced in cooperation with Headspin, had been nominated in two categories in the “world championship for corporate presentations” in Cannes. We have emphasised storytelling in the presentation of who we are and in communicating the Norwegian oil adventure. Apparently, our message hit the mark. We are pleased to note that we, on the basis of the efforts delivered by a small staff, have succeeded in asserting ourselves among the major Norwegian enterprises. Our next target is to surpass Statoil, who outranked us this year, says Torgeir Anda.
