Geolog

Job description

  • All principal tasks are related to prospect identification and assessment. Generalists and specialists are all encouraged to apply with competence in all or parts of activities below.
  • Coordination and execution of geological work in exploration licenses and access to new acreage
  • Planning and execution of geological data acquisition
  • Prospect identification and evaluation, volume and risk assessment
  • Evaluation of well data and stratigraphy
  • Integration of well data, seismic and geophysical work for the evaluation of play model, GDE, prospect or discovery
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills to external parties and upper management
  • Ability to effectively work and integrate across the subsurface disciplines
  • Continuously build on our corporate knowledge base for new innovative prospect generation.
  • Competence required: Interpretation and analysis
  • Proven E&P track record or significant contributions
  • Minimum M.Sc. and geophysical experience within oil and gas exploration or production

Education level

  • College / University, Master / Phd grade

  • Good analytical skills and critical thinking, capable of individual problem solution

Geofysiker

Job description

  • All principal tasks are related to prospect identification and assessment. Generalists and specialists are all encouraged to apply with competence in all or parts of activities below
  • Coordination and execution of geophysical work in exploration licenses and access to new acreage
  • Planning and execution of geophysical data acquisition and processing
  • Prospect identification and evaluation, volume and risk assessment
  • Seismic Interpretation and depth conversion
  • Seismic AVO and quantitative seismic reservoir characterization
  • Provide and maintain inputs to asset reservoir models
  • Ensure that all work, tasks and projects within his/her area of responsibility is carried out to achieve the overall objectives for the regions. These include HSE, technical integrity, compliance and cost
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff

Explorationist

Job description

  • All principal tasks are related to prospect identification and assessment. Generalists and specialists are all encouraged to apply with competence in all or parts of activities below
  • New project initiation with pairs to frame potential area specific prospectivity
  • Work efficiently and Interactively with other specialists to test new play concepts
  • Specialised within one or more of the disciplines petrophysics, quantitative geophysics, geo dynamics, geochemistry/petroleum systems analysis, reservoir engineering & fluid properties
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
